Ron/Luna: Last day of classes

He woke up feeling a bit lost. It was the last day of classes, normally an occasion that was exciting as it meant a summer ahead without books or studying. However, this year it meant that he wouldn’t be seeing her every day. Sure they could spend some time together but it just wasn’t the same thing.

After dressing and meeting up with Harry and Hermione, he walked into the Great Hall, his eyes immediately finding her at the Ravenclaw table. She smiled the crooked smile that was all his and waved. Waving back, he felt his cheeks blushing as Harry teased him. Before he had a chance to sit down, she had joined them.

“Ronald, have I told you the good news?”

“What good news?”

“Father has agreed that I can spend two weeks with your family in July,” Luna smiled before giving him a brief kiss. Whispering in his ear, she said, “Now you can be happier about school getting out today.”

Watching her walk back to her table, he grinned, the day suddenly much better. Shaking his head, he muttered, “How does she do that?”
