Ginny looked up as her door opened. Smiling when she saw Ron, she scooted over to make room for him.


“It feels weird to be home, doesn’t it?”


She nodded slowly. “It doesn’t really feel like home anymore.”


“Give it time. It was like that for me last year. I missed Harry and Hermione something awful,” Ron admitted. “How are you feeling, Gin?”


Shrugging, she said, “I don’t have as many nightmares now but I can’t fall asleep tonight.”


“Here,” Ron laid beside her, his arm going around her waist. “I’ll protect you from the bad dreams.”


“I love you, Ron,” she whispered softly, closing her eyes and thinking how wonderful it was to have such a great big brother.
