Willow loved England. She loved school. Her classes were challenging and informative. She was doing very well. She loved her apartment. She had some very nice neighbors. It was hers. She loved working with the council. She had been amazed at all they did. She sometimes wondered if even Giles was aware of how far they reached. Thack had turned out to be an older gentleman. He was very nice and had pretty much adopted Willow. Her skills with the computer had easily put her at the helm of the computer research area. She got to answer emails from watchers and members worldwide. She had even answered several of Giles requests. He, of course, had no idea that she had.

She had left the council later than usual tonight. There was a demon in Jaskin that was very dangerous and she had refused to leave until she could discover its weakness. She felt proud of herself. Suddenly, she felt herself being shoved into an alley. A dirty hand covered her mouth, blocking the screams.

"Lookie here....a pretty little girl just for me."

She tried to get away from his wandering hand only to find herself shoved hard against the wall. She bit his hand and as he let go cussing her, she screamed for help. Soon, he hit her head hard against that wall.

"I believe that the lady isn't interested mate."

The man put his hand under her throat and turned. Willow felt blood dripping into her eyes and could see nothing clearly.

"Ain't none of your business chap. Move along."

"That's where your wrong. You see, the lady and I go way back. Fuck this, I'm drunk and I'm hungry."

Willow felt the hand at her throat loosen and then disappear. She wiped the blood from her eyes and looked. The guy was laying on the ground. Another man was bending over him. As her vision cleared, she gasped. The man looked over at her, blood fresh on his mouth. He wiped his mouth on his sleeve. He stood and started to her. She noticed that he was swaying. She then noticed the bottle of tequila in his hand.

" 'ello luv." he said smiling . "Miss me?"
