"It hasn't changed very much." Willow said, looking around the town as they drove.
"Unfortunately not. So, do they know we're here?"
"Well, I called Giles last night. He knows that I'm here but he has no idea anyone is with me. He said that he'd get in contact with the others and set up a meeting at the library."
"Can't they find somewhere else to meet?"
"No. It's much easier there than anywhere else. Brian took over Giles's old job when he married Darla. Marcy is a sophomore so it works out."
"Marcy? I haven't seen her in awhile."
"I know. She seems to be adjusting. I get email from her every week. She'll be at the library I'm sure."
Dru spoke "I think you should meet with them alone first. See how they have changed. Us with you will be a huge surprise."
"You just don't want to go. You can be honest with me luv." Willow said, facing the woman and smiling.
"Sure thing Pet" Dru said, drawling the last word. "I have no desire to see people who remember me as a crazy murdering lunatic. Call me weird, but it's not my idea of fun."
Spike had to laugh. "I agree with her, Red. BUT" he added seeing Willow's look, "I'm just sooooo excited about it."
"Fine. I'll go in first. You two can come later. How's that? That way, I can see them before they kick us out of town." She said, laughing.
"Oh, if they do, can we go to San Francisco? I want to see the bridge."
"Yes Dru. We can to San Francisco."
"Blimey, she'd be happy if we lived in this damn car." Spike said, rolling his eyes.
"Shut up Blondie. I've never seen these places. Is it my fault that in the years we were together you never took me anywhere nice?" Dru said, baiting the vampire.
"Fuck that. I took you loony ass all over Europe. Besides, you wouldn't remember even if I had...." he added, smirking.
"Bastard."
"Thanks"
"Children....please. We can not have this arguing when we meet with them. Behave."
"Yes mother" they said, in unison.
Willow groaned. She was used to this. They often fought like children, enjoying the freedom to insult each other. She felt Spike's hand on hers, squeezing it reassuringly. She looked out the window and wondered if she'd make it through the next week.
