Rescue
Willow peered into the darkness of the room. She saw Drusilla hovering by the wall. The woman was nude, blood covering her body. She was curled in a fetal position. She was pale and looked weak. Willow felt anger at the person who caused this. Spike was moving to the demon, the sword gleaming in his hand. Willow had been to told to stay still and leave if it got ugly. Ha...like she'd leave him to die. She took a deep breath and moved to Drusilla.
Spike faced the demon known as Markos and felt disgust in his body. He had seen Dru, looking like a broken puppy. He wanted this man dead.
"You think you can challenge me?" a deep voice spoke.
Spike refused to be caught in a war of words. That was Angelus fought. He held the sword, letting light show on it.
"Braver men have tried....and Failed." the last words were hissed.
Willow put a blanket around Drusilla. The woman looked at her blankly. "Come on. Let's go while we can" Willow whispered.
Drusilla felt comfort at this girl's touch. She didn't recognize her. She must be an angel. Her own redhaired angel. She suddenly felt the fear leave her body. She was safe with this girl. She would protect her.
Willow stood with Dru. Dru had to lean on her, she was too weak to walk alone. Willow saw Spike trying to fight Markos. The demon was using magic. Spike was losing. Willow gnawed her lower lip. She saw the sword laying on the ground before her. The demon had his back to her. Spike was on the ground, the demon about to strike. Willow moved quickly, bringing Dru with her. She picked up the sword and moved behind Markos. She caught Spike's eye and winked. She thrust the sword though the demon's heart.
Dru watched as her angel killed the horrible man who had held her captive. She noticed a man laying on the ground. He had bleached hair that was almost white. She saw the look he gave her angel. This must be her angel's love. He was attractive. He seemed oddly familiar but she couldn't place him. Suddenly, there a light. She blinked as she saw something fill the air.She felt her head start to hurt. She reached for her angel wanting reassurance that all was well. She watched quietly as her angel moved to the man, bringing her along.
After the sword hit Markos, there was a flashing light. A white dust entered the air as he and the sword dissolved. Willow coughed as the powder entered her lungs. She felt Dru moved behind her, grasping her hand for safety. She moved to Spike and held him tightly.
Spike moved and clung to Willow. The air was covered in a thick fog. He kissed her deeply. "Thank you, Red. Almost bought it there."
Willow smiled. "He shouldn't have messed with my man. Besides, if anyone kills you, it will be me."
They turned to Drusilla. She was watching them with a curios smile.
" 'ello Luv. You ok?" Spike asked Dru, seeing how terrible she looked.
"I'm much better now." She looked at Willow. "Are you my angel?"
Willow smiled. "No I'm just Willow."
"Willow....you know me?"
"Yes." she said, not wanting to explain.
She looked at Spike. "You know me too?"
"I haven't forgotten you, if thats what you mean. Its only been a little over a year luv. Will, do you think we should be leaving? I don't like this place."
Willow nodded. "We need to meet Thack. I told him we'd meet him, if we made it out alive."
Drusilla smiled, lost in her thoughts. They knew her. They were her friends. They had saved her. They could help her. "My Willow. Can I ask you a question?" "Of course."
Her eyes serious, she asked, "Who am I?"
