Green Eyed Monster

Summary:
Jealousy helps Cordelia and Willow find love with two stubborn vampires

Chapter 1

"Angel Investigations" Cordelia said, waiting for an answer. "Sorry. Can't help you."

Willow glanced up from her desk as Cordelia hung up. "Who was it?"

"A heavy breather. He wanted me to yank his whistle or something equally disgusting" Cordelia replied, staring at her best friend before giving into the giggles.

Willow started to giggle. "Are you sure it wasn't Xander? Every time he calls for me he plays some prank."

"It wasn't him" Cordelia said.

Willow heard the door open and a smile crossed her face. Cordelia rolled her eyes wondering she looked that pathetic every time she stared at Angel.

"'ello birds." Spike said, walking into the lobby of the agency. "Me miserable sire around?"

"I think he's in your office" Willow said, smiling at him. He winked at her before going through the door that housed his and Angel's desks.

"Pathetic" Cordelia hissed at her roommate.

"Shut up" Willow said, heat covering her cheeks.

"Willow's got a crush..." Cordelia sang softly, not wanting Angel or Spike to overhear her words. She really shouldn't talking. She'd been in love with her boss since shortly after Doyle had died more than a year and half before. Did he see it? No. He was an oblivious moron. Typical man.

"You should talk" Willow said, glaring pointedly. She knew her best friend was in love with Angel. Just like she was in love with Spike. She sighed, thinking back over the changes in her life the last year. Spike had been neutered by the Initiative. He had started helping them out. She had gotten a crush that had quickly escalated to love.

She had decided to move to LA after the disaster of freshman year to join Cordelia and Angel, whom she had grown much closer to over the distance. She had been shocked but pleased when Spike had joined her. But, over the last ten months that they had been in LA he treated her like a sister. He had only come because he hated Buffy and couldn't remain in Sunnydale without a supporter.

She was about to respond when a woman came into the office. "Hello. I was wondering if y'all could be of assistance."

Cordelia and Willow looked at the woman, dislike filling them both. She was gorgeous, long blonde hair that fell past her ass. Breasts that barely were concealed in a filmy top. She had an annoying southern accent that sounded phony as hell.

"What?" Cordelia snapped, not liking her at all.

"Muh name is Savannah. I need to speak to the investigator" she said, smiling sweetly, her voice dripping honey.

"They aren't in" Willow said, glaring at the woman.

Suddenly, a voice was cleared. "I'm Angel. You needed me?"

Cordelia rolled her eyes as Angel practically drooled all over the woman's hand. Spike came up behind him, his eyes wandering over the woman's form. A goofy grin overtook his face.

Willow said, "Angel. Why don't you let Cordy and I handle this one? You did say we could start taking some cases."

"Yeah...you guys deserve a rest" Cordelia said.

Spike and Angel ignored them completely, ushering Savannah into the office. They closed the door and soon feminine giggles could be heard followed by laughter from the men.

"They snubbed us" Cordelia said, her voice dripping poison.

"Completely." Willow said. "My god...we've been helping them for a god damn year and this is how they treat us? Ignore us for the first pair of fake boobs and honeyed accent that walks into the door!"

"I declare Willow" Cordelia said, imitating Savannah's accent falsely, "We may be a bit jealous."

"Fuck jealous. I'm pissed" Willow said. She had spent more than sixteen months trying to get Spike to see her as a sexual desirable creature. It took five seconds for his tongue to be on the floor when Miss Thang came in the door.

"Me too" Cordelia agreed. "So, what do we do about it? Maybe we should just give up on them. We've wasted how many months waiting for them?"

"Too many." Willow said, her voice ticked off.

"Fine. We can move on then." Cordelia said, nodding her head with determination.

"Easier said than done" Willow said softly. "But, we can do it. We can move on to something with a future."

"Right. Come on. Let's go get some ice cream and talk about this more" Cordelia said, standing at her desk.

"I'm with you" Willow said, glaring at the office door as she heard giggles again. "Let the Dixie dumpling have them!"

"Right on" Cordelia said, holding the door open for Willow. "Let's see how well their lives run without us to remind them to do everything."

Willow nodded, "I also want to take a case. The next one, 'k Delia?"

"Sounds like a plan" Cordelia said. "We can show them what they ignored for so long. Damn stupid vampires."

"No" Willow corrected, "Damn stupid men!"

**********

Angel closed the door behind him and looked at Spike. "Wow."

"You're telling me" Spike said, shaking his head as the sensual little package of Savannah Deliro left the building.

"The girls already left. It must have taken us longer than we thought" Angel said, moving back to his chair.

"I lost track of time" Spike said, winking at his sire.

"Yes, well. I can understand that." Angel said, laughing. "So, we have a new case."

"Helping defend the delectable Miss Deliro from her demony ex boyfriend. Sounds easy enough." Spike said.

"Gawd, don't tell me your getting images of the bodyguard." Angel said dryly.

"Nah. She's nice to look at but I don't think there is much up here" Spike said gesturing to his mind.

"I noticed that too. A bit light in the brains department," Angel said. He gathered the notes from the meeting, "I'll put these on Delia's desk. You feel up to a trip to the bar?"

"Uh oh...sire's drinking. What's up?" Spike said.

"Spike, do you want to go to the bar or not?" Angel asked.

"Sure. I could use some alcohol." Spike said. "Want me to call the girls?"

"No. Leave them in peace. This can a boys night out" Angel said, laughing.

"Yippee!" Spike said, rolling his eyes. "Come on. Last one there has to buy the rounds."

Angel locked the office, making sure Delia's light was off. She often left it on when she worked late. He followed behind Spike knowing the first round would be on him.

****************

"I agree" Willow said, banging her fist on the table. "They're stupid, selfish, blind jerks."

"Let's see how much they miss us when the southern belle leaves." Cordelia said. "Bet they are wondering right now why we left early."

"If they even realize we did" Willow said dryly.

"Damn, you're right. What's the point in not wanting them if they aren't ever aware they're not wanted?" Cordelia whined.

"They'll notice. Give it some time. What will they do when they need something and we aren't there? Besides, we can start working cases at night. Think of all the real normal ones we turn away because they aren't sent by the powers that be." Willow added.

"You're right. We can go in when they're sleeping and be gone before they wake up. We can start working cases at night and then we'll never see them!" Cordelia said.

"Yeah...we'll never see them" Willow said softly. Shaking her head, she added, "which is of the good. Because we've waited long enough. We're too young to waste time waiting for them to wise up."

"Young and attractive" Cordelia said. "We could have any guys. Why wait for them? Just because they're smart, sexy, attractive....and we love them."

"But, remember? Absence makes the heart grow fonder. See? If we're never around they'll realize they care about us too. If they don't, well, we need to know that now."

"I got it. Tomorrow we will do anything we need to before they wake up. We can be out of the office by two and working a case by the evening. I'll even make sure we keep the machine on all the time even when we're home. Let them worry for a change."

"We'll have to remember to tell Dennis the plan. Don't want him picking up for us by mistake." Willow said.

Cordelia smiled, "This is going to be great. We can finally stop waiting and start living again."

Willow smiled at her friend, "It will be lots of fun."

**********

Willow heard Cordelia clucking her tongue and looked up. "What is it?"

"This." Cordelia said, holding up the papers. "Notes from the meeting last night. Savannah and all that."

"Let me read" Willow asked, walking to her friend's desk. She sat on the edge, taking the notepad. She read through it, looking at Cordelia, "This girl is full of it."

"Exactly!" Cordelia said. "And they bought it hook, line, and dixie dumpling sinker."

"This guy they have to watch...from what the notes say, he isn't after her. It sounds like she's the obsessive one."

"Listen to the recording" Cordelia said, holding up the tape recorder.

After Willow had heard the entire conversation, gagging over how idiotic Spike and Angel sounded, she turned it off. "They're being set up."

"Yep" Cordelia said.

Willow looked back at the notepad and then at Delia. She smiled, "Why don't we track this Jason Stoner down and see if he is interested in us taking the case."

Cordelia laughed, "Oooh..I like that idea. Protecting the poor innocent man from the manipulative Dixie Dumpling. Extra bonus points if he's cute."

"Well, let's see. It says here he owns the club, Cutting Edge."

"It's a date." Cordelia said. "Let me finish with these notes and we can pay Mr. Stoner a friendly little visit."

"Our first case. I'm so excited" Willow said, smiling. She knew she was a bit more eager to actually work a case than Cordelia. Her friend was content to answer phones and file papers. She wasn't. She had a damn good brain and wanted to use it.

Cordelia finished typing the notes up and went into Angel's office. She laid a copy on his desk. She laid the other copy on Spike's desk. She then grabbed a piece of paper and wrote out a short little note for when the vampires woke up and came upstairs.

"How's this sound" she asked Willow. 'Boys, had some errands to take care of. Notes are typed and things are caught up. See you whenever. The Girls."

"Good. Friendly and to the point without any details. It will drive them crazy not knowing where we are....I hope" Willow said.

"It will...after awhile. I mean, I don't expect results immediately. It has been over a year after all and they are still both blind. But, every afternoon with just a note and us gone....they'll notice."

"Yeah...you're right. Well, come on Delia. We have a date with Mr. Stoner."

"What? No roses? Don't expect to get past first base tonight, Willow" Cordelia said jokingly. She saw Willow laugh and wondered why the thought of going past first base with her friend was starting to sound so tempting. She removed the thoughts from her mind, hooking her arm with Willows. "Let's go Will."

"Yes Ma'am." Willow said, the girls walking into the sunlight and heading to the Cutting Edge. They hoped that their talk with Jason Stoner would prove that they were right and that Savannah was a lying little bitch.

**********

"Hey Willow. I need you to research the name Jason Stoner for me" Angel said as he walked into the lobby from his elevator. He froze, his eyes taking in the empty desks.

"Just tell him no, Red" Spike said, moving up from behind Angel. He too froze when he encountered the silent room. "Where the bloody hell are they?"

Angel frowned, "They must be at lunch."

The two men went into the office, each going to his desk. Angel saw the stack of typed papers and the note. Reading it aloud, he scowled even more. "Errands?"

"Why the fuck couldn't they tell us where they were going?" Spike demanded.

"Maybe they didn't want to wake us" Angel said, thinking about it.

"Fuck that. I'd rather be woken up than not know where the hell they are." Spike grumbled, looking at the notes on the Deliro case. "I wonder what bloody game they're playing."

"What do you mean?" Angel asked.

Spike looked up, "Leaving early last night. And now this...what the hell is wrong with them? Do you think they're getting tired of us?"

Angel shook his head, "Of course not. Maybe it's just that time of the month. They always get a little weird around then."

"Will's monthly doesn't arrive for another two weeks" Spike said. Realizing what he had said, he looked back down at the notes.

"What? Would you mind telling me why you have Willow's cycles memorized?" Angel asked, surprised at his childe.

"No" Spike answered.

"Come on Spikey...tell Daddy all about it" Angel teased.

"Shut up, you bleeding wanker" Spike grumbled.

"Come on..." Angel taunted, wondering what big secret his childe was keeping from him.

"I love the damn chit. There? Happy now? Can we drop it?" Spike roared, his eyes flashing anger. He couldn't believe he'd slipped up so badly. He'd kept his secret for over a year, only to have to tell it because of his big damn mouth.

"You love Willow?" Angel said softly, seeing the tension in his childe. He wondered why the hell he hadn't seen it in the last year. Was he blind?

"Sod off" Spike said.

"You know she has a crush on you don't you?' Angel pointed out quietly.

Spike looked at his sire, "Does not. She thinks of me like she does Xander. A nice cuddly big brother type."

Angel snorted, "Please. The girl eats you alive with her eyes. Any fool could see it."

Spike leaned back, his face disbelieving. "Oh, you mean like the prom queen does you?"

Angel glared at him, "Now what are you talking about?"

"Delia. She looks at you like you're the chocolate syrup for her vanilla ice cream" Spike said, grinning as Angel looked uncomfortable. "Talk about being a fool."

"You're full of it. You're just trying to get the attention off of you and your love for Willow, which I wholeheartedly consent to by the way. She'd be good for you. And if she can tolerate you, she's a hero among women."

"Nice to have your permission Dad" Spike said, rolling his eyes. "The chit doesn't know I exist. Not like your little brunette dish."

"Cordelia is not my anything. We're just friends." Angel hissed.

"Oohh...did I strike a nerve?" Spike said, grinning openly. "Does big, bad Daddy want the little tasty treat?"

"Sod off" Angel said, repeating Spike's earlier words.

Spike laughed out right, "That's rich. You're giving me advice all the while you're secretly lusting for your assistant. Hypocrite!" Spike taunted.

"Spike, drop it. We agree that neither of us has a chance in hell at getting the women we want. Fair?" Angel said, running a hand through his dark locks.

"Fair" Spike agreed softly. He'd realized when he had first fallen for Willow that he was nowhere good enough for her. She deserved someone as special as she was. His sire was going senile if he thought she had a crush on him. He had been with her every day practically for the last sixteen months or more. He'd have seen even the slightest desire on her part, wouldn't he?

Angel re-read the notes of Savannah's case. It seemed pretty simple. He couldn't help wondering if maybe Spike was right. Did Cordelia want him as much as he wanted her? He had never seen it in the eighteen months they had been working together since Doyle's death. Maybe she had hidden it as well as he had. It was something to think about, that was for sure.

**********

Cordelia move closer to Willow and pointed as they saw the sign for the club they were looking for. "You can stop here."

The cab pulled to a halt outside the entrance to the Cutting Edge. Cordelia paid as she and Willow got out. "We'll give you an extra fifty if you wait for us. It shouldn't be more than thirty minutes."

The taxi driver nodded, hitting the meter to keep it running. He removed a magazine from his glove box as the two girls disappeared into the club.

"Well, this isn't as bad as I imagined" Willow said, looking at the bright colors that covered every table in the club. She heard a man tell them that they were closed. She looked towards the voice. "We have business with Mr. Jason Stoner."

Cordelia and Willow both gulped as the man came closer. He was gorgeous in a stand back and drool but don't get involved sort of way. Dark black hair, green eyes and olive skin. He smiled as he looked at them, "I'm Jason. I'd hate to think I had an appointment with two such pretty ladies that I forgot."

"Mr. Stoner. My name is Willow. This is Cordelia. We work for a private investigator." Willow explained.

Jason cocked an eyebrow and said, "Do, call me Jason please. An investigator?"

"Can we sit?" Cordelia asked bluntly.

Jason smiled, "Of course."

Willow and Cordelia sat opposite him. He took the time to study them, liking what he saw. They were both beautiful, strong, intelligent women. "So, what can I do for you?"

Willow studied him. He was very good looking, and she knew he was a demon. But, she didn't feel frightened of him. In fact, he had a reassuring aura around him. He seemed like someone she could be friends with. She smiled, "What sort of demon are you?"

Jason's eyes widened with surprise. Looking at their expectant expressions, he laughed. "Cut to the point, don't you Willow? I am a hirtyol."

"A what?" Cordelia asked, still not knowing half the demons that existed.

"It's hard to explain. I'm a good guy, if that makes you feel any better."

"Details would make us feel better" Willow said.

Jason sighed, "Ok. I am a happiness demon. I guess you could say that I am one part a keeper of love. Sort of like cupid without the wings. Other part listener. I spend most nights just listening to people....helping them with their problems. I could make a really great bartender," he added with a smile.

"A good demon? Suppose to make people happy?" Cordelia said, smirking. "Whatever. There aren't demons like that, are there?." She whispered to Willow.

"Well, I can't force things but I can spot it." Jason said. "Hence, the club. I wander around evenings and set people up. I can't bend them to my will or anything like that. The thought horrifies me. No, I can just listen and make them open to find love."

"A matchmaking demon?" Willow said, laughing. "I can actually see that. I feel very comfortable around you."

"Tell me your problems, and I can make them seem trivial...I can help you realize what is good about your life and the problems will become easier to deal with," Jason said, smiling at the redhead.

"Right now, our problem is you. It seems someone wasn't happy with one of your attempts. Does the name Savannah seem familiar?" Cordelia asked.

Jason thought about it. "I'm not sure. I don't often meet the people that I intend to make happy...wait. Blonde hair. Southern?"

"That's her." Willow said.

"I remember her. She was coming on to me at the club one night....must have been two weeks ago..." Jason said, "Why?"

"She claims you are obsessed with her and has hired our bosses to protect her." Willow said.

Jason started to laugh, "I've met her. She seemed nice but I was busy when she tried to talk. Stalking her? When would I have the time? Besides, that would completely go against my nature. As I said, I'm a good guy."

"Well, that's about what we thought after reading the case. Do those two stubborn drooling men realize she's full of it? Nooo. So, it's up to us to protect you." Willow said.

Jason's green eyes flashed with amusement. "You two are going to protect me from your bosses?"

"You betcha" Cordelia said. "Those morons would probably kill you by mistake."

"Do I detect a whiff of love for these two stubborn males?" Jason asked, his senses alert to the feelings in the air.

"Nope. We're over them. We just want to make sure you're ok until they realize this Savannah is a fake" Willow said.

"Ah. So you two lovely ladies are going to be my bodyguards?" Jason asked, flashing a smile.

"If you'd like us to" Willow said.

"But of course. Who better to protect me from two stubborn men? Besides, this sounds like fun. Count me in. When do we start?" Jason asked, his mind already wondering when their bosses would realize they were on his side. This could be a fun show. Much more so than he had anticipated when he had first been contacted about these four. Smiling, he leaned back against the booth.

"Right now." Cordelia said, smiling. "Don't you worry. We'll make sure they don't hurt you."

"Oh, I'm not worried....not at all" Jason said. "Come along ladies. I'll show you around the club."

**********

Spike and Angel walked into the club, surprised by what they saw. "This the place?"

"Yeah. That's what Savannah said" Angel replied, looking around.

"A bit colorful for some nutty demon" Spike said, grimacing at the bright neon colors.

"Come on. Let's find this guy and see what we're up against." Angel answered, pushing his way through the dancing people and walking up the stairs to the tables and bar.

"Bloody hell" Spike cursed softly, grabbing Angel's coat.

"What?" Angel asked, annoyance in his voice.

"Look" Spike said, pointing across the dance floor to the other area of tables.

Angel froze, his eyes taking in Willow and Cordelia. They were dressed to kill, both wearing tight dresses that left very little to the imagination. He saw the men and even some women looking at them and anger ran through him. "We've got to get them out of here."

"Yeah" Spike agreed, his eyes cold as he looked at the girls' admirers. If he could kill them all with a glance, they'd be dead.

"Excuse me gentlemen. May I?" an arrogant voice spoke up behind them.

They turned and looked into laughing green eyes. "May you what?" Spike hissed, angered that their rescue attempt had been stopped.

"Just wondering what lovely creatures had bewitched you" the man replied smoothly. He looked across the room and smiled, "Oh, you've spied my Delia and Will."

"Your what?" Angel asked, his tone low but deadly.

"The redhead and the brunette. They're mine. And here I thought I may have missed some stunning beauty. Silly me. Those two are the most beautiful girls here" Jason said, smirking at the two vampires.

"Who the fuck are you, mate?" Spike demanded, knowing that his Willow belonged to no one but him.

The man started to walk away. "The name is Jason Stoner. I own this place. Have a drink on me, why don't you?"

Before Angel or Spike could reply, the man was gone. "They're his?"

"Over my dead body they are" Spike replied, moving to the stairs to collect Willow and Cordelia.

"Wait. Spike." Angel said, holding his childe's arm. "Maybe they're helping. Getting close for the case."

Spike just looked at him, his blue eyes flashing with anger and annoyance. Angel smiled wryly, "You're right. Let's get them and go home."

Spike and Angel crossed the floor, going up the stairs only to find that Cordelia and Willow were gone. "Fuck" Spike hissed.

"We'll find them. The place isn't that big" Angel said, frowning as he looked over what must be at least three hundred people crammed in the small club.

Jason smiled, knowing his job with those two had been done. Now, to find the girls and start with them. He could sense the feelings between them and knew they had been unexplored. His mission was to get the four of them together. He could do that easy enough. Savannah had started the chain of events perfectly. Everything so far was going exactly according to plan. He was diverted from his attempt to find them by a man who was flirting with a woman while his girlfriend looked ready to cry. Sighing, he moved into flirtation mode. A Jealousy demon's work was never done, he thought silently to himself.

**********

Willow sat on the sofa in Jason's office and sighed. "My feet hurt."

Cordelia looked at her friend and laughed, "Please. You haven't been standing that long."

"It's these damn shoes. How can you wear them?" Willow grumbled, removing the obscenely high heels from her feet. She sighed in satisfaction as she wiggled her toes.

Cordelia sat down in Jason's desk chair. She saw the bright flash of red that painted Willow's toes. She smiled as she looked at her friend. Willow was dressed to kill in a very tight green dress. Cordelia had picked it out from some Jason had from previous girlfriends. Cordelia's dress was midnight blue and also fit like a second skin. She felt attractive...more attractive than she had in months. Since she had fallen so hard for Angel, her social life had become non-existence, consisting only of the guys and Willow. She caught sight of Willow's thigh as the girl stretched. Frowning, she wondered why she was reacting so strangely to her friend. It was almost as if she were turned on by Willow. She had often had these feelings before, more so now that they lived together. But they had never been so in the front of her mind. Was she falling for her friend?

Willow heard the door and looked up, smiling as she saw Jason. She personally didn't believe that he was solely a happiness demon. She knew from years on the Hellmouth that such creatures did not exist. She did know, after spending most of the afternoon with him, that he was not an evil guy. That was enough for her and Cordelia.

"Ladies. Looking lovely" Jason said, taking a seat by Willow. He saw Cordelia's eyes narrow and smiled larger. "Saw your two friends out there."

Willow straightened, "Spike is here?"

"A good looking blonde and a broody brunette?" Jason said. Seeing the girls nod, he said, "That's them. They didn't see either of you, so don't worry. Your secret is still safe." As he spoke, he allowed his hands to begin caressing Willow's foot. She sighed in pleasure as he massaged her.

"That feels great" Willow said, her voice a purr. She leaned her head back on the couch as he continued speaking.

"Those shoes are torture. You must try something with shorter heels." Jason said, waiting for the explosion.

"I picked those out for her" Cordelia said, her voice angry. She glared at Jason, wondering why she had ever thought him attractive. He was flirting with Willow. With HER Willow. "Come on, Will. Let's go home."

Willow glanced at her friend, surprised to see jealousy in her dark eyes. She glanced at Jason and then back to Cordelia. Uh oh...had her friend been upset that Jason hadn't flirted with her? She frowned, the image of Cordelia and Jason together making her a bit angry. She shook her head, clearing her thoughts. "Sure thing, Delia."

Cordelia went behind Willow, her arm going around the redhead's neck. She looked pointedly at Jason, making sure he understood that Willow was off limits. Willow belonged to her and Spike and Angel. She saw Jason smile at her as he winked. He said goodbye and made plans to meet them the next day. It was only after they were leaving the club that she wondered when she had fallen in love with Willow.

**********

Willow looked at Cordelia as the girl drove them to the office. Her friend had been acting strange since they had left the Cutting Edge the night before. She couldn't understand what was wrong, unless Delia really was interested in Jason. Finally, she had to ask. "Delia, what's wrong?"

Cordelia was shaken from her thoughts by Willow's soft words. She changed lanes and then glanced at Willow. "What do you mean?"

"You've been acting weird since last night. Are you mad that Jason was flirting with me?" Willow asked, worry in her green eyes.

Cordelia snorted. "Not exactly."

"Not exactly? What the hell does that mean?" Willow asked.

"Will, it's complicated. I'm just having trouble dealing with some thoughts I've been having. Nothing major. You worry too much" Delia said, smiling.

"What kind of thoughts and what does Jason have to do with them?"

"Jason has nothing to do with them" Cordelia said, rolling her eyes. "I admit I may have been slightly jealous that he was flirting with you...but trust me when I say it wasn't for any reason you would ever guess."

Willow sighed, running a hand through her red hair, "You make no sense."

"I was jealous that he was touching you, ok? I wanted to be the one making you moan like that..." Cordelia blushed slightly as she said the words out loud.

"Huh?" Willow said softly, not believing what Delia had said.

"Trust me. I'm as confused about it as you are....more so since I've never thought of myself as being gay before.....But, Will. I wanted to hit him for touching you last night. I hope my honesty doesn't hurt our friendship. I don't want to lose you."

"You'll never lose me Delia." Willow said, wondering why her body was feeling such warm thoughts from Cordelia's words. "I was actually a bit jealous thinking you wanted Jason...."

Cordelia stopped at the light, looking at Willow wide eyed, "You don't have to say that to make me feel better."

Willow snorted this time. "Trust me. I wouldn't say that I was feeling attracted to you just so you wouldn't be alone in your own thoughts."

Cordelia smiled, "You're attracted to me?"

Willow turned red. "Well, uh....yeah. Last night I realized it....what are we going to do?"

Cordelia smiled, "Let's just wait and see what happens. I love you, Wills. You're my best friend. I don't want to lose that in case it was just fleeting feelings. But, I'd like to explore it if they continue..."

Willow smiled slightly, "What about Angel and Spike?"

Cordelia shrugged, "What about them? They passed up their chance with us. I mean, I'll always love Angel as I'm sure you'll always love Spike. But, this is about us. Not them. I think I might be falling in love with you and nothing will keep me from finding out if it's real."

Willow beamed at her words, "You love me? I mean...IN love with me. Wow...you're right. This is about us, not them. I want to find out where this takes us, if you're game."

Cordelia pulled into the parking lot behind Angel Investigations. She turned and looked into Willow's eyes. "I'm definitely game, honey. Now, come on. We've got some work to do."

Willow smiled, "Yeah, we do. Wonder if the guys have noticed our lack of appearances yet."

Cordelia smiled, "Oh...I'm sure they have. Let's see what they do about it."

Willow smiled, "IF they do anything."

The two girls walked together to the front of the building. "I have a feeling they'll do something...eventually."

Willow nodded, "Wonder what they'll think about us.....getting together and all."

Cordelia snorted, "Knowing their history together? I'm sure they'll be very supportive."

Willow smiled, "Maybe that will get them to make a move finally."

Cordelia shivered in pleasure as an image of the four of them together vividly played out in her mind, "Sharing is always nice."

Willow just laughed at the expression on Cordelia's face. She opened the door to the office and walked inside. "Love you, Delia."

Cordelia beamed, "Love you too, Will."

**********

"Where the hell have you two been?" the dark voice said from the shadows as the girls walked into the office.

"Eek!" Willow shrieked, holding her chest and trying to get her heart to stop beating so fast. "Spike!"

The light flipped on as Spike stared at them, his eyes unreadable. "Well?"

"I don't know what you're talking about" Cordelia said sweetly, winking at Willow as she sat at her desk.

"Don't give me that, Delia" Angel said, his expression pissed off. "You've been avoiding us. Why?"

"We haven't been avoiding anyone" Willow said, rolling her eyes as she sat down. She looked pointedly at Spike's boot planted firmly on her desk. "Ahem.."

He glared at her, a sneer crossing his lips, "We haven't seen either of you in over three days. That's avoiding pet."

"Three days is avoiding?" Cordelia said, chuckling. "Whatever."

"You two make it a point to get here when you know that we're sleeping and you're both gone before we wake up. Why?" Angel asked.

"Well, excuse us. We didn't realize part of the job was being here when you were awake." Willow said, her tone sarcastic.

"Be honest." Spike spat out. "You two have found yourself some man and don't have time for us anymore. Some friends."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Cordelia demanded. She was happy to see them both so upset but she had no idea why they were being downright rude about it.

"Jason from the Cutting Edge. Sound familiar?" Angel hissed, his eyes narrow.

Good grief. They're jealous, Willow thought. She almost smiled. "You know Jason?"

"Do we know Jason?" Spike asked, his tone irritated. "Stay away from him. He's a demon."

"I know. A very nice guy actually" Willow said, smiling at Spike's anger.

"But, we aren't involved with him" Cordelia said, her tone snappy. "You boys had better check your facts before accusing us of slutting around."

"We saw you two last night...that demon said he was with you" Angel said, his tone suddenly doubtful.

Willow laughed, "And you believed him? You just got through telling us to stay away from him, yet you believed him. Makes a lot of sense guys."

"So, you aren't with him?" Spike asked, suddenly feeling elated.

"No. Not with him, though I have fallen in love" Willow said sweetly.

"What?" Spike demanded.

"Me too...isn't it wonderful? I love being in love" Cordelia said, smiling an honest smile.

"You're in love" Angel said softly, wondering why he was so upset.

Spike felt as if someone had stabbed him. He looked at Willow's bright eyes and tried to smile, "That's great pet. But, stay away from that Jason guy. He's bad news."

"That's great?" Willow repeated. "That's all you have to say?"

Spike shrugged, "What can I possibly say? You look happy."

Cordelia snorted, "Well, at least she isn't pining away after you anymore, Blondie."

"Delia!" Willow shrieked, her face turning red as Spike's eyes widened.

"What? I am thrilled you aren't panting after blonde boy anymore" Cordelia said with a smile. "Just like I've moved past Angel."

"Past me?" Angel said, confusion in his eyes.

Willow laughed, seeing suddenly what Cordelia was setting up. She stood, going to her friend's desk. "Now now...we are still getting over them both so I can't say the feelings are completely gone."

"Oohh...honey, don't tell me that. I might be jealous of blondie" Cordelia said, smiling as she ran her hand over Willow's face. She noticed Spike and Angel both watching, their expressions curious and surprised by the news that they had heard. She moved close to Willow. "I want to be the only one you fantasize about now, Red."

Willow chuckled, the sound husky as she leaned forward slightly, "You will be, Delia." The girls lips met in a passionate kiss, their first, as Spike and Angel watched open mouthed, realizing suddenly who exactly the girls had fallen for. Each other.

Willow pulled away from Cordelia, a soft smile on her face. "Wow."

The brunette nodded enthusiastically, "I'll second that one."

"You two?" Angel said, sitting down as he tried to come to terms with what he had seen.

"Together?" Spike spoke softly, his voice disbelieving. "This is a joke, right?"

Willow felt a flash of irritation, "A joke? Why would we joke about something like this? I love Cordelia. She's my best friend. Right now, there is something deeper than that between us. We are both single and sick of pining for you two so we are planning on exploring those feelings."

"AND...since you two claim to be such good friends to us, you should support us both" Cordelia added.

"Pining? For us?" Angel said, frowning. Cordelia had been in love with him this whole time? Where the hell had he been? He sure as fuck hadn't seen it.

"Told ya she had a crush on you" Spike said, rolling his eyes.

"A crush? Excuse me, Mister Bad Ass Vampire" Cordelia said, "BUT, it was not a crush. I love him. Completely and wholeheartedly. He is my destiny...or he was. I'm sick of sitting her and never being as good as she was" she spat out the word she giving them no doubt who she was referring to.

"You're better than Buffy" Willow said loyally. "She let him leave. You've put up with him for over a year with not an ounce of interest. That reminds me..."

Cordelia smiled as the redhead turned to glare at Spike. She waited, watching Angel's face as he tried to deal with what he had learned. He had honestly had no idea, she suddenly realized. Damn, she must be better at that acting thing she had thought.

"If you could see Delia's crush so easily, what about me? What is it about me that makes you blind? I waited sixteen months...fuck, longer than that really. Not even a wink of interest. Why are you so concerned now that I may have found someone?"

Spike glowered at her, refusing to answer. He had loved the chit for quite awhile, but he had no desire to confess that in front of Angel or her little trollop. "I don't care. Hope you both are very happy." He spat out, hating the feeling that pierced his heart as he realized he may have really lost any chance with her at all. He moved to go downstairs, turning back to face Willow. "I just want you happy, Red."

"I second that" Angel said softly, standing. He moved to follow Spike. He smiled sadly at them, "As long as you two are happy, we're happy. Sorry this turned into such a big mess. You won't have to see us if you don't want to."

Willow watched them leave before facing Cordelia. "Why do I feel like I just lost a piece of myself?"

Cordelia sighed, making a face, "Because, no matter what we feel for each other, our hearts belong to them...and we just gave that up."

Willow shook her head, "No. I refuse to believe that. If they want us, they'll fight. They're that type of guy. Maybe we just forced them to see what they might lose."

"Wishful thinking" Cordelia said. "I so don't feel like working. Not after that."

"Why don't we take a sick day...go get some ice cream and walk along the ocean." Willow suggested, "I'd also like to stop off and see Jason...Make sure Savannah hasn't tried anything to get him yet."

"Sounds like a plan...anything is better than sitting here trying to resist running downstairs and begging."

"No begging" Willow said, her tone slightly weak. She sighed, "No matter how much we want to. Come on, Delia. Let's go."

"Yeah...let's get out of here." Cordelia agreed, grabbing her purse. "We can stop off after lunch and see Jason. Sound good?"

"It's a date" Willow said, smiling at her friend.

**********

Jason looked up with a smile as the two beauties came into his club. His smile died as he saw the look in their eyes. "What happened to you two?"

"Don't ask" Willow said, sliding into the booth opposite him.

"We so don't want to talk about it" Cordelia added, sitting beside Willow.

"Anytime someone tells me that, it means they are dying to talk. What happened?" Jason asked, actually concerned. He had taken a liking to the girls and hated seeing them so unhappy. The night before they had been alive and excited. Something must have happened.

"They gave us up" Willow said. "Didn't even act as if they really cared."

"Just mad that we messed with their routine." Cordelia said. "Didn't bat an eye when we told them we were in love with each other."

"You two are in love?" Jason said, smiling slightly. He had seen the attraction from the beginning when he had met them. That was the reason he had worked his magic the night before. Jealousy would often make people realize hidden emotions. "And they don't care?"

"Nope. Not a smidgeon." Willow said, her voice defeated. "What's wrong with me? Why can't he love me back?"

Jason sighed, glad that he had a clear schedule. He couldn't just pat the girls on their head and send them on their way. This problem seemed much deeper than anticipated. The person who had contracted him had assured him that the two girls were in love with the vampires and vice versa. Now, he wasn't so sure. But, the night before, he had seen the interest and emotions in the men's eyes. "Nothing is wrong with you, sweets. Maybe something is wrong with him."

"Nuh uh...he's perfect" Willow said defending Spike. "Well, most of the time."

"She's right. They're both perfect. It's us. We just aren't smart or attractive enough for them." Cordelia added, her voice lifeless.

Jason rolled his eyes. Humans. Stupid, silly idiotic creatures. "Tell me word for word what was said. I'll be the judge of whether or not they hate you."

An hour later, after much sidetracking from the girls, Jason finally had the true conversation. Well, their version at least. He almost laughed. The girls were as blind as the damn vampires were. So used to accepting defeat that they didn't try to fight. "They love you."

"What?" Willow said. "You're crazy."

"They were jealous...they thought it was me. I guess hearing that it was each other, well, they couldn't really threaten the other girl now could they?" Jason pointed out.

"You're so wrong" Cordelia said. "They think of us as little sisters. That's the reason they were upset about us getting involved with you. They just want us happy" she winced at the last word.

"I'm hardly ever wrong" Jason said patiently. "Give it time. It has taken them over a year to see their feelings for you. What's a few more days?"

"Maybe he's right" Cordelia said thoughtfully.

"They didn't care" Willow said. "I wish they had, but they didn't."

"They don't want to lose either of you. They feel they might if they interfere." Jason said.

"So, if we were to tell them say that we were moving back to Sunnydale for instance, you think they would object and actually make a move to stop us?" Willow asked, wondering if that was what he meant.

"That would be an interesting experiment" Jason said with a smile.

"We could do that" Cordelia said. "I think we should move away anyway. We can't get over these feelings for them if we see them everyday at work and have to constantly be in contact with them. Maybe we should just go home."

"You're right." Willow said. "It's been hard enough without them knowing what we felt. Now that they know...well, I don't know if I can face them every single day. Sunnydale though?"

Cordelia shrugged, "We know people there. Of course, I've always wanted to see New Orleans..."

Willow smiled, "Either choice sounds fine. Somewhere far away from them and their knowing little smirks would be great. Besides, as long as I still have you that is something."

"That is something major" Cordelia said, kissing Willow's cheek. She smiled at a bewildered Jason. "Thank you!"

Jason just looked at them and nodded. What the hell had just happened? He had meant for them to lie to get a reaction. He didn't want to drive them away from the men they loved. If his contractor found out about this, his days would be numbered. Fuck. What was he suppose to do? The vampires. That was the answer. He could go and tell them most of the story...leave it in their hands. If they truly did care for the girls, they could stop them. He'd be safe. That was a good idea. That would be his plan. He reached for the phone to call Savannah and find out where their office was. He had his own ass to save this time.

**********

Jason looked around the office, smiling as he took in the desks that must belong to the girls. He could immediately tell which one was Willow's and which was Cordelia's. He heard low voices coming from the inner office. He cleared his throat and knocked.

Spike looked at the door and then back at Angel. Sighing loudly, he stood and opened it. His eyes narrowed as he took in the man. "You" he hissed.

"I told you to just call me Jason" he said with a grin. He pushed his way past Spike and nodded at Angel as he took a seat. "Please sit down. We have much to discuss."

"What are you doing here?" Angel demanded. They had just been discussing the case they were working on involving the very man now sitting in their office.

Jason sighed. "Too many questions. There is no time to waste."

"Jase, honey" a voice said from the outer office. "Why don't ya let me talk with them?"

"Wait. You two are friendly?" Spike said, seeing Savannah walk inside. She smiled at him as she leaned on the side of Jason's chair.

She laughed a husky laugh, "Friendly? Why, Jason and I have been involved for over a hundred years now."

"You're a demon" Angel said, his eyes confused.

"Would someone please tell me what the fuck is going on!" Spike said, his voice quiet but the tone threatening.

"We are jealousy demons" Jason said. "We invoke jealousy to help bring people together that should be or drive others apart that shouldn't be together at all."

"We were contacted about a case" Savannah continued, "Involving you two and the two pretty little thangs that work for you."

"By who?" Angel asked, his mind running through the possibilities.

"I'm sorry. That information is classified" Jason said, smiling. "Let's say it was by someone who wanted the four of you happy. This person contracted us to make you four jealous hoping that would finally bring the proper couples together. It didn't work as we thought it would."

"How so?" Spike asked, seeing the man frown. "Cause Delia and Wills love each other?"

"They love you two morons more" Savannah said, wondering why men were considered the superior race. They were stupid and brainless and always needed her to point things out to them.

"We had hoped that you two would fight for them. Their own feelings were not counted on. I like them both." Jason said, "And I want them together with you two, not only because of my contract but because the four of you were meant for each other."

"Why are you telling us this?" Angel asked softly. "Wouldn't this null the contract?"

"We don't care about the contract, sugar. Those two little girls are going to move to get away from their love for you two. That is not going to make them happy. We are suppose to make people happy" Savannah said, speaking as if the two vampires were five years old.

"Moving? Where the hell are they moving?" Spike demanded, his eyes scared at the thought of losing Willow.

Jason shrugged, "Last I heard was New Orleans. They seem to think that you boys don't care about them in the same way they love you. I think it's time for you to show them how wrong they are."

Angel nodded. He had spent the entire evening and afternoon thinking about his feelings for Cordelia. He had fallen in love with her somewhere over the last year and a half. He had no intention of letting her out of his life. "We'll take care of it."

"You can fucking count on that. Red isn't going anywhere without me!" Spike said, his eyes dangerous.

Jason shared a smile with Savannah. "Our work here is done. Good luck fellows. Please come by the club after things are worked out. I'd love to treat the four of you."

"Bye now" Savannah said, smiling as she followed Jason.

"Spike, we have two girls to seduce." Angel said calmly.

Spike grinned, "I'm on it, Dad."

**********

"Do you think they'll come?" Cordelia asked, covering a yawn.

Willow thought about it. "Well, if Jason is in fact a jealousy demon, yeah. My research shows that he was hired by someone to get us all together. If he thinks that we are seriously leaving, well, he won't want to lose his money."

"IF you're right" Cordelia pointed out.

"I'm right. I'm just glad I decided to research him....we can let him get them to come to us." Willow said, smiling.

Cordelia nodded, "It's about time they do some chasing."

"Well, at least we'll know if they are really interested or not. If we hear nothing, we'll know they don't give a damn." Willow said, chewing on her bottom lip.

"Well, if that happens, at least we still each other" Cordelia said, smiling softly. She brushed her lips over Willow's cheek as she settled in beside her newly discovered lover.

"The one good thing that has come out of all this" Willow said, her hand lacing with Cordelia's. The two girls had explored their new feelings and desires the night before. It was the first time that either girl had had sex and they were glad it was together. They did truly love one another, they just also loved the damn stubborn vampires too.

"If they show up, there will be more" Cordelia said. "Do you think they'll share?"

Willow nodded, her fingers running over Cordelia's palm. "Oh yeah....I've read the journals. They use to share a lot. With us, they will have an excuse to become lovers again. Goddess...can't you imagine them making love?"

Cordelia licked her lips, "Uh huh...dark and light. I've never found the idea of two men together a turn on, but those two...damn. It makes me wet just thinking about it."

"Me too" Willow said, moving her hand up Cordelia's thigh. She caught the brunette's eyes and saw the consent. She brushed her lips over Cordelia's as the girl began to unfasten her shirt. Willow pulled back and removed her own clothes, the need burning through her. She again claimed Delia's lips, the other girls' hands running over her small breasts. She groaned as Cordelia twisted her nipple roughly.

Cordelia moved, pushing Willow against the couch. She smiled at the surprised look in the redhead's eyes. "I want to see how wet it made you" she said innocently, running her finger through red curls. She brought the dripping finger up to her mouth, her tongue licking it clean. "So sweet."

Willow whimpered, moving against Cordelia's leg. "Fuck me, Delia."

"Gladly" Cordelia said, smiling as she moved her position to straddle Willow's lovely face. She lowered her wet cunt to Willow's face, moving her head between Willow's thighs. She began to play with Willow's clit, smiling as the other girl moaned. She caught her breath as Willow's fingers slid inside her tightness. Giving up the teasing, she leaned over and began to furiously suck and lick at Willow's juices.

Willow arched up against Cordelia's face as she shoved another finger inside the girl. She moved her tongue over Delia's clit, her hand on the girl's ass. She felt her body tense as she came, her juices coating Cordelia's face. She heard Cordelia scream out her name as the other girl came also. Sighing in pleasure, she felt Cordelia move position again, the brunette's head on her breast as they collapsed in exhaustion.

"You know" Willow said, causing Cordelia to look at her.

"What?" Cordelia asked, the taste of Willow still in her mouth.

"I think we may need a bigger couch" Willow said, laughing softly.

"Let's wait and see if they join us" Cordelia said. "We might need a huge couch then."

The two girls laughed as they snuggled closer together to wait and see if Angel and Spike made a move.

**********

Willow opened the door, a feeling of joy spreading through her as she looked at Spike and Angel. "Boys."

"Let us in, Red" Spike said, his tone giving no room for arguing.

"Come in" she said, moving to the side. Before she could say anything else, Spike's lips had claimed hers. She moaned in surprise as she pressed against his cool, hard body.

"What the hell?" Cordelia asked, moving to stand. She saw Angel walking towards her, a predatorial smile on his handsome face. She watched as Spike moved Willow into the room, slamming the door with his foot. She smiled as she looked back at Angel. "Took you boys long enough."

"Delia" Angel said, his eyes flashing. He held out his hand and he smiled as she took it. He brought her up against his body, his lips brushing against hers softly.

Willow felt Spike push her against the wall, his hands moving underneath her to cup her ass. She gasped as he shifted her, her legs going around his waist for support. She felt his erection against her wet panties and groaned, grinding against him for more contact. She heard him chuckle as one hand moved between them. She cried out, ripping her mouth from his as his finger ran over clit.

Cordelia and Angel tumbled to the couch, their hands and mouths everywhere. Cordelia pushed Angel onto his back, her eyes raking possessively over him. She ran her hands over his chest, pulling at the buttons of his shirt. They went flying as she ripped the shirt open, her eyes hot on his bare chest. She leaned over, her lips blazing a trail across the smoothness as her hands began to unfasten his pants. This was not about seduction for either couple, she knew. She and Willow were way past the point of control. They wanted to feel their lovers inside them. She freed his large cock from his slacks, pushing the material past his feet to the floor. She watched him sit up and removed the remains of his shirt, his amused dark eyes on her. She pulled her large sleeping shirt over her head and moved to straddle him. She gasped as she sunk down on his large cock. There was a tinge of pain as she felt herself filled, but it was soon forgotten as she began to bounce against him. His hands went to her hips, his fingernails digging into her as he began to move her against him.

Spike ripped Willow's panties from her, his fingers delving into her wetness. Her arousal was strong, even from such a simple touch. He felt her hands on his back, her hands roaming over his cloth covered skin. He pulled back, smirking at her sound of disapproval. He pulled his shirt off, keeping one hand underneath her for support. He was rewarded with a small feminine sigh of appreciation as her green eyes wandered over his bare chest. He smiled proudly, claiming her lips again. He felt her hands move down to his jeans, caressing his cock through the denim of his jeans. He groaned, his free hand moving to join hers as he freed himself. He pushed her t-shirt up, his lips cool on her breasts as he moved himself against her soaking entrance. He thrust into her tight warmth, going slower than he felt like to give her time to adjust. She moaned as she felt him fill her, moving down to take more. The pain brought tears to her eyes that he kissed away. She began to move against him, the hard wall behind her back.

Soon, Cordelia's cry was heard as she tightened around Angel's hard cock. He moved them quickly, pinning her to the couch as he entered her deep. Four times was all it took before he was grunting as his seed entered her. His teeth bit into her breast lightly, bringing forth a small amount of blood that he licked up. She collapsed on the couch, her eyes finding Spike and Willow still fucking against the wall. She smiled as she heard Willow's gasps of pleasure. She felt Angel shift, his head cradled in her breasts as he too watched the two by the wall.

Spike felt her muscles tighten, making herself even tighter. He felt her fingernails dig into his back as he pounded into her relentlessly. Her mouth covered his face and neck as she took him inside her. Soon, he heard his name on her lips as she clamped down even more on him. He groaned, his teeth entering deeply into her shoulder as he sent his deep inside her. He felt her blunt teeth bite into his neck as her hands gripped him tightly. They slid to the floor, their eyes finding each others as they again kissed.

"I hate to complain, but what was that for?" Cordelia asked, her hands brushing against Angel's forehead.

"Heard you were leaving" he replied, looking at her.

Willow smiled from the floor, her body cradled against Spike. "Told you Jason would tell."

"You knew about him?" Spike asked, his mouth on her neck as his arms held her tightly against him.

"I'm not stupid" Willow said, smiling at him.

"So, what now?" Angel asked, looking back at the other two and then at Delia.

"Well...you two know about me and Will. We aren't giving that up" Cordelia said, her voice hesitant.

"We don't expect you too" Spike said, his eyes not leaving Willow's face. "I love you Red. If the chit makes you happy, I'm happy. I don't mind sharing."

Angel chuckled, "You both know that Spike and I are very close also. I don't think you two expect us to give that up either. I think we can work something out that benefits all of us."

Spike smirked from his position between Willow's legs, "A big old happy family, eh Daddy?"

"I can live with that" Willow said, brushing her lips over Spike's face.

"Me too" Cordelia said, moving against Angel slightly.

"Why don't we move this into the bedroom?" Willow suggested, squealing as Spike lifted her, his cock still inside.

**********

Jason watched the laughing foursome and smiled. It was obvious to anyone that the four handsome people were lovers. He watched the tender way Spike looked at Willow and the way that Angel watched Cordelia. He then took in the way the girls would touch and smile. Yes, they were happy. His job had been completed.

He went upstairs to his office. He nodded at Savannah, who was watching their favorite foursome from the window. "It is done."

"I must say, they are much happier. They complete each other" she remarked, turning towards him. "Have you called?"

"About to" he said, picking up the phone. He waited until he heard the voice. "This is Jason. It is done. Yes, very happy. I will. Thank you."

"Well?" Savannah asked.

"We did well" Jason said, kissing her softly.

Meanwhile, in Sunnydale.

Anya hung the phone up and turned towards Buffy, Xander and Riley. "That was Jason."

Xander looked up, "Well? Did it work?"

"Are Willow and Angel finally happy?" Buffy asked, gnawing on her bottom lip.

"Yes. According to Jason, the four of them are very happy." Anya said, smirking.

"Fine. You were right" Buffy said, rolling her eyes. "The four of them?"

Anya nodded, a wicked gleam in her eyes. "Told you that Cordelia was hot for Willow."

Riley laughed, "Good grief. Well, at least they're happy. That's what is most important."

Buffy nodded, "I know. I worried about them. They seemed so lost and alone. But, no more. I don't have to worry because they all have each other."

"Good plan, honey" Xander said, kissing Anya.

"Just glad I remembered Jason was in LA" Anya said. "And that he owed me a few. So, we Bronzing tonight?"

Buffy nodded, "Definitely. I feel like celebrating."

"You know of course that we have to act surprised when they come back for a visit" Riley said, taking her hand.

"I can act surprised" Buffy said, "That won't be a problem. As I said, I'm just thrilled they have finally found each other and are happy. Just like us."

Anya watched the slayer kiss Riley. She looked at Xander, "Who was it that said those four belonged together?"

"You honey." Xander said, kissing her.

"Nice to know I was right, again." Anya said, moving from the room. "That green eyed monster never fails to bring people closer together if they are truly in love."
