The door is not completely closed. It is curious, but not a reason to stop. The groan, however, causes Spock to pause. Perhaps someone is injured. He is uncertain why an injured person would remain in a supply closet instead of seeking medical attention, but he has begun to learn that logic is not always common amongst his colleagues. Instead of continuing on his way, he veers to the left and looks into the closet.

When he sees Doctor McCoy bent over the captain, he arches a brow and remains silent. It is fascinating to watch them, so he remains in place. It is unlikely that they will take notice of him, and he finds the opportunity to observe the human mating ritual impossible to resist. While Nyota allows him to observe, this is not the same. It is unfortunate that she is not with him now, as he thinks that she might enjoy this opportunity as well. He decides that he will have to ensure that he pays close attention so that he can tell her about it later.

The captain's groan is louder than appropriate if there is an intention to conceal their activities from passing crew members. Perhaps they wish to be caught? It is an interesting possibility, though unprofessional. His attention is brought back to the copulating couple when he hears the doctor curse. He watches closely as the doctor withdraws before slamming forward at a faster speed than before. With every thrust, the captain pushes back and makes noises that are reminiscent of Nyota before she falls apart.

He listens as the doctor curses more and begins to insult the captain. He is surprised at the captain's reaction to being called such names. Instead of being offended, the captain sounds aroused. It is perplexing because he cannot imagine a situation where Nyota would appreciate being called a whore. The captain is begging now, and Spock watches as the doctor begins to move faster. It is oddly arousing to watch them despite the fact that he does not wish to be in their place. When the doctor suddenly slaps the captain's ass, Spock looks at the captain immediately. There is only pleasure in his expression, even when the doctor repeats the action.

The captain's back arches when the doctor grips his hair and pulls hard. Spock clenches his jaw and focuses on their actions, not on the memories of his own hands clenched in Nyota's hair. He watches them as they climax and listens to the noises that they make. The doctor finally withdraws, and the captain smirks as he straightens. Spock can see the release dripping from him as he turns towards the doctor and kisses him. When the captain kneels and begins to suck, Spock realizes that it is time to leave.

Nyota is waiting for him, and he has much to tell her.
