Willow has a clothing mishap with surprising results
Chapter 1
Dinner was going much better than she had anticipated. When Draco had told her he wished to take her home to meet his parents, she'd been plagued with thoughts of everything that could go wrong during the meal. Draco had laughed away her concerns, stopping her ramblings with kisses, which only increased her need to worry even more because Draco kisses were at the top of her list of favorite things. It seemed her worries were unfounded, however, because Lucius Malfoy turned out to be charming and handsome, providing her with an idea of how Draco would probably look in twenty years. Definitely aged well! Narcissa Malfoy was very beautiful and Willow had liked her instantly.
Willow knew about Lucius' past as a Death Eater, having heard the entire story from Draco shortly after they'd started dating. In the end, he had turned against Voldemort and played an important role in the Dark Lord's downfall. She'd been a bit worried about his reaction to her since she was a muggle-born witch and had been dating his only son and heir for nearly two years. Her worries had been for naught, because Lucius had been very nice and was a great conversationalist. Things were going so well that Willow couldn't keep the pleased smile off her face nor could she conceal her growing affection for her lover's parents.
She was listening to Lucius tell a joke, something about a wizard and a broken wand, when Willow heard the soft ping. She glanced in front of her, eyes widening when she noticed that one of the buttons on her shirt had come undone. Luckily, the shirt had nearly two-dozen small buttons down the front. She discreetly moved the fallen button under the edge of her plate, deciding she'd fix it later. She had no sooner turned her attention back to Lucius when another button went ping. A frown crossed her pretty face as she moved that button to join the other. She was relieved that Lucius was so caught up in his story and that Narcissa was too busy watching her husband to notice the buttons coming unfastened from her shirt. Another button followed the first two. She didn't even have time to grab it before another fell. This was ridiculous! Her shirt was now missing four, no five buttons. Willow's cheeks were starting to turn red as she wondered how in the world she was going to get out of this situation without being totally mortified. Her bra was becoming visible, the redhead thanking every deity she'd ever heard of that she'd actually worn a bra that evening.
"Willow, love, it seems you have a problem," Draco's lazy drawl drew her attention.
Willow looked across the table at her lover, her eyes narrowing as she saw the smirk on his lips, the desire mixed with mischief in his gray eyes, and the wand in his right hand. She kicked him under the table, receiving a sharp exclamation of surprise from the blond wizard, smiling sweetly as she said, "Draco, darling, stop it!"
"You kicked me!" he accused, his lips curving into a smile, not caring that his parents had stopped their conversation to look at them both with obvious amusement. He didn't take his eyes off Willow, finding her even more beautiful when she was annoyed.
"You're being rude! I'm trying to listen to your Father and you're playing your silly games with the buttons on my shirt!" Willow said, looking apologetically at Lucius and Narcissa, "I'm so sorry!"
"It's not your fault that my son is a spoiled brat," Lucius smirked, "a jealous brat, at that."
"I'm afraid it is our fault," Narcissa smiled. "We spoiled him as a child and he still loves to be the focus of attention, especially around those he cares for."
"I'm not jealous!" Draco denied, glaring at his Father, "If you'd quit trying to monopolize *my* girlfriend, I wouldn't have been reduced to getting her attention in such a juvenile way."
"You were jealous?" Willow started to smile, "Of your Father?"
"No, I was not," Draco said snottily, "I was merely concerned that you would grown bored listening to the old man chatter on."
"You were jealous!" Willow grinned, her eyes softening as she said, "Draco, honey, you don't need to be jealous. I love you, as you well know!"
"I approve, Draco," Lucius declared with a pointed look at his son, indicating that Willow was more than acceptable as the future mother of his grandchildren. He found the redhead delightful and it was obvious that she loved his son. It was also obvious that Draco loved her, his son having never been happier since meeting the beautiful redhead.
"Approve of what?" Willow asked, knowing she must have missed something.
"I believe that Lucius and I will have dessert in the garden," Narcissa declared as she stood up. She gave her son a kiss on the cheek, whispering, and "You've chosen well, Draco."
"Willow, it was most enjoyable meeting you," Lucius said charmingly, kissing the redhead's hand, winking as he said, and "don't be too hard on him He's a jealous brat, but he does love you."
"Lucius, leave the children alone," Narcissa smiled, "Willow, we shall meet for tea soon."
"Draco, what's going on?" Willow asked, looking at her lover suspiciously.
"I was not jealous of my Father," Draco said as he stood up and moved around the table. His hand brushed against her cheek as he smiled, "I know you're mine, just as I am yours. Have I mentioned how much I hate this shirt? So many bloody buttons."
"Yes, well, it's now missing about seven of those!" Willow smiled, moving her head against his hand.
"You're so beautiful," Draco whispered as he moved to kneel beside her chair, "I knew my parents would love you."
"I adored them both," Willow said, her eyes on his.
"Willow, I know this isn't the most romantic place in the world and this is probably nothing like you'd imagined, but it feels right," Draco said softly as he removed a small box from the pocket of his robe. He opened it, watching her eyes widen with surprise.
"Oh my God," Willow whispered as she saw the beautiful ring laying across the velvet.
"Willow Rosenberg, I love you more than I ever imagined loving anyone," Draco said, "Will you marry me?"
"That's what Lucius meant. He was giving you permission," Willow said quietly.
"Yes, but I planned to marry you even if they'd hated you," Draco told her, "you're my life, Willow. From the moment I saw you, I knew that we were meant to be together. Oh God, I promised that I wouldn't get sappy."
"I like sappy," Willow smiled as she looked at the ring and then back into Draco's eyes, seeing the sincerity in their gray depths. She leaned over and kissed him gently, pulling back and whispering against his lips, "I love you, Draco Malfoy. Yes, I'll marry you."
Draco kissed her passionately, standing as he moved her against the table. Pulling back, he flashed her a wicked smile as he moved his wand down her shirt, his gray eyes flashing with desire as he said, "I want you."
"Here? Your parents are just outside!" Willow glanced at the closed door and then back at Draco.
"Button, button, who's got the button?" Draco teased as he used his wand to remove button after button, his lips following the path of flesh that was bared to his view.
"Draco, we can't do that here!" Willow protested weakly, moaning as he his lips caressed her flesh.
"Why not?" he asked as he looked up at her, his hair now tousled from her hands running through it to urge him closer even as she protested the sanity of them preparing to have sex right there in the middle of the table at Malfoy Manor. Love was in his eyes as he looked at her, his lips curved into a teasing smirk as he ran his tongue against her skin.
"I want you, Draco," Willow whispered as she moved against the table. A smile crossed her pretty face as she said, "Willow Malfoy. Sounds pretty nice, doesn't it?"
"It sounds perfect. You know, love, I think I'm going to really like this marriage thing," Draco smirked as he moved his mouth against hers, kissing her tenderly as the remainder of the buttons on her shirt fell away.
